Original artwork created for ART IS FOREVER, a project created by Jason Sturgill as part of the Portland Art Museum’s SHINE A LIGHT, 2011. Jason walked me through the museum and then sent me off to draw what I saw. He only asked for two or three drawings, but there was so much good stuff in there that a couple quickly grew to a dozen. I have a plenty of weird tattoos and even a couple plain old dumb ones, but the idea that anyone would want to get any of these tattooed on them is a whole other level of looney in my mind. All the same, thanks to everyone who came out and did in fact choose to mark themselves with my scribble.
